Recently the boys have been inspired by their buddy Henrik (belonging to One More Mushroom) who is an avid clay character builder. They are also recently really into Mr. Fantastic Fox and quote it all the time. As a result they are constantly asking me to make them fox characters of one kind or another, so finally I said, why don’t you make some out of clay, like Henrik. They looooooved this idea and after a quick jaunt to the craft store, began working on them at once.

I showed them how to make a mini armature and they sculpted the clay around the wire. I then showed them how to make eyes using a small cylindrical shape and they they went to town (Little O was especially into this). They pretty much made their entire foxes with a bit of help from me on the snouts and the clothing.

And now they won’t put them down…and I have a moment’s peace…so we’re all very happy….
