Back from ALT 2013!

Uncategorized

I’m back from a whirlwind week at ALT Summit. Good times my friends. Good times.

And I can’t wait to share all the fun I had along with some lovely pearls of wisdom, but right now I have to seriously play catch up as I get back into illustration mode and work, work, work!

It wouldn’t be ALT if one didn’t return with a slew of fun and creative buz cards, right? I always love going through my stash when I get home. It’s fun to see what other creatives come up with and this year I’m definitely feeling a turquoise theme going on. Seriously the most popular biz card color. Followed by simple black and white and then a splash of yellow was also a hit. Fun stuff!MerMagALTbuscards2

And speaking of fun stuff, I’m so excited about the upcoming holiday of love…and definitely have a few things up my sleeve for that. As well as an update on my pirate valentines and I know you can no longer download them. I unfortunately lost the original file so have to find some time to recreate them (unless any of you dear readers have an original file you’d be willing to send back my way). So thanks for hanging in there and being patient with me. I’ll be able to sort it all out soon.

  1. I spy my business card! It was great visiting with you during our Asian-inspired lunch on Thursday, Merrilee. Your business card is definitely a keeper 🙂 Thanks for the chat and for your insight during your Alt Summit presentation. Yay for inspiration!

  2. Thanks for showing us that beautiful collection of cards. I’m inspired just looking at them. I’m new to the blog world and just learned about ALT; seems like a cool experience. Maybe next year for me.
Can’t wait for the pirate valentines! ~D

  3. hi merrilee! i see REstylesource in your card line-up… i hope you’ve had time to check out our site, it really is full of great inspiration and local love on a national scale. on a more personal note i was grateful we were able to meet and chat at the clue party. your concept of creating and dreaming as a together endeavor warmed my heart. i loved your panel chat about your collaborative work with “gap”. as i told you, my son works there and i’m impressed by his enthusiasm for the company and the way they’ve encouraged his creativity at work.
excited to follow your blog and hope to chat more soon… 🙂 marni

  4. I’ve just found your blog through the alt website and I can tell I’m really going to enjoy following along. I’ve been blogging for a while, but just started to ramp it up to a new level and am looking for inspiration. Found it! Thanks.
