Every morning I wake up to this poster just right across from my bed. Reading ‘We’ve Got This’ has really helped me in these past few weeks especially. Yes I feel all the feelings – sadness, fear, loss, uncertainty, overwhelm – but I also see so much hope in humanity as we join together (even while staying apart.) For example just today someone put up a sign in our yard celebrating teachers. It was for Jon, my husband, who is a teacher. It brought so much joy and uplift to him right when he needed it – and to all of us really. Maybe you have your own stories and moments of kindness too. Maybe you’re making them happen around you. It makes me feel like, together we’ve got this home/remote schooling thing, together we can stay home, together we can support health care workers, together we can help those that need lifting up. Together we can make a better world when this is all over – filled with more awareness and compassion IF we choose to. Together ‘We’ve Got This’. •
