On school days it’s a battle getting them up and out the door – but on Saturday’s, or holidays such as yesterday, their inner clocks get them up bright and early and start the day of freedom and play just as soon as they can! We had fun yesterday going out for massive hamburgers, playing at indoor jungle gyms and cleaning it all up at the end of the day with a fun bath. I love these days with my kids. Helps me remember what it was like to be young and carefree. And as this stage will only last so long…it’s great to get these moments whenever we can…

thanks Lauren. We always throw in a bit of food coloring. the simplest things make bath time super fun. And I promise they don’t turn the color of the water

I’ll have to remember the food coloring, and swap out the white towels for that bath.

definitely give it a try. We haven’t had any problems with the coloring transferring to towels or bodies, but you can try a darker towel on your first go. xo Mer
